Class Versioning:Data_asset_container

Annotations
rdfs:comment
A Data Asset Container (or folder) is container for other artifacts. A D.A. Container is expected to accessible, traversable and "own" the artifacts within it. Folders are typically hierarchical, containing other folders and artifacts. Typical examples of D.A. Containers are directories and URI suffixes (such as http://URI/folder-a/folder-b. The URI of the folder is also the URL of the folder (the physical address). A Data Asset is owned by one or more Data Asset Containers and will be "in" each of these folders. An artifact that is not in any folder no longer exists. (Similar to the Unix "iname" structure). A Data Asset Container is a context for the contained Data Assets.
